Enerpac, a worldwide tool manufacturer, implemented, in cooperation with the Apps & Us team members Gerard Nieuwstad (Lead Functional Consultant) and Marcel Dekker (Project Manager), and is now using for their EMEA distribution center Oracle eBusiness suite Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Objectives of the implementation:
1. Accuracy
• Insight in on-hand stock per stock locator
• Cycle count
• Stock movements
• Replenishment pick locations
2. Efficiency
• Faster processing incoming goods (using specific Put away rules)
• Precise stock picking because of correct location information
• Using Oracle Mobile for real-time processing
• Continuous cycle counting
Currently the first weeks working in real life with Oracle eBS Warehouse Management are done, including month end closing. The value of WMS will become more and more visible for the customer in the upcoming period and Apps & Us will help Enerpac to improve where needed.
